Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Evelyn Ellis reportedly dated controversial figure Andrew Tate after starring on Big Brother UK together in 2016.
When Evelyn debuted on MAFS as an intruder in early 2023, her links to the 36-year-old came to light as a photo of the pair in Thailand resurfaced.

ICYMI: Andrew and his brother, Tristan, were recently head in preventative custody in Romania before being transferred to house arrest in March. It comes as authorities investigate allegations of human trafficking and rape — both of which the siblings deny.
At the time, Evelyn told Pedestrian.TV: “Andrew and I were in the [Big Brother] house briefly at the same time, and he left early.
“We stayed friends and when Andrew was in my life and we were mates or whatever, he wasn’t Andrew Tate [that we know today].”
She added: “He wasn’t this big controversial person that like the media goes on about.”
However, during his Big Brother stint, Andrew was booted from the house as allegations of rape surfaced, as per VICE.
Now, as revealed in episode 323 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one insider says he and Evelyn were more than “mates”.
Sources allege Evelyn Ellis and Andrew Tate’s relationship was ‘serious’
“Evelyn and Andrew were exclusively boyfriend and girlfriend after Big Brother,” they alleged. “Evelyn travelled with him for a while after the show. That’s where the Thailand photo came from.
“They went all around the world together and Andrew paid for everything.”
The source added that the relationship was “serious” and that Evelyn “knew about some of the charges” Andrew was facing at the time.
“But apparently it didn’t bother her…”
As fans of MAFS will be aware, Evelyn has since moved onto bigger and better things. She is now dating — and living with — her co-star Duncan James.
