Love Triangle‘s Tamera Francis has defended herself against the “villain” edit she copped on the show.

ICYMI: In episode four, Tamera admitted that she couldn’t “be bothered” investing in her relationship with her partner Sam Martin because she could “do better” than him.

However, on October 23, Tamera, 26, took to Instagram to set the record straight, claiming that she fell victim to some dodgy editing.

“Sam and I discussed where we stood early on. We came to the understanding that we were on the same page from day one,” she started.

“I really valued and liked Sam. I believed I hit the jackpot being paired with him as I thought I’d gained a lifelong friend.

“However, I’m sure you’ll see a very different version from Stan, especially when we were under the impression others were finding it hard to get along.”

Love Triangle’s Tamera Francis says she had a ‘platonic’ relationship with Sam Martin

The content creator said that during the episode, she was trying to explain that the pair weren’t “romantically compatible” but “got along as friends”.

However, these words were twisted, which impacted her experience on the show.

“The unfolding of what [occurred on Love Triangle] makes sense to me now,” she said.

“It doesn’t forgive the way I was treated. But I can see why everyone thought I said a certain thing and jumped on the bandwagon.”

The model then clarified that when she said “I could do a lot better”, she meant that in terms of finding someone she was more “romantically compatible” with.

“To my knowledge, it wasn’t a possibility that Sam felt anything but platonic towards me,” she recalled.

She then went on to say she spent lots of time with Sam after filming wrapped.

“It’s unfortunate what the reality TV ‘gods’ will do to get the narrative they want. Somehow I’m the ‘villain’ for wearing my heart on my sleeve and not faking it for the cameras.”

Love Triangle‘s Tamera accuses Stan of manipulating the show to ‘FIT’ a ‘NARRATIVE’

Tamera accused Stan of manipulating her scenes to “fit” a “narrative”.

“Do better,” she wrote across a clip from the show.

“[Sam and I] were really good friends. Not that you’ve shown any of those conversations (they don’t fit your narrative).

“The fact that this has been edited to make it look like Sam was [part of] the conversation is a joke. You know the emotional abuse and bullying I endured and the fact that you’re screening this is not okay.”

She added: “Interesting how you can make anything sound like anything when you cut the end, middle and entire sentence up and rearrange it.

“Let’s ignore the fact that Sam got cut off that night. I was left thinking a family member of his was in an emergency when you had facilitated him disappearing to create a blow-up.

She then said it was “clear” that Sam was being fed a “narrative” that she was sh*t talking him, when she was actually “boasting” about how much she “valued their relationship”.

Tamera says the producers manipulated her relationship with Sam

Tamera also explained that her relationship with Sam had been tarnished due to the “BS” he was fed by producers.

“Which would explain the text I had on my private phone from Sam when I questioned where he was at the end of the night when I was being held for hours.”

She then uploaded a screenshot of a conversation from the night in question. The texts showed Sam getting mad at her for leaving the filming venue without him, despite the fact that she was really being “held hostage” by producers.
