The Amazing Race Australia 2023‘s George Mladenov has revealed that a crucial moment from the competition didn’t make the final edit.
George, who is a two-time Australian Survivor star, competed on the celebrity edition of the series alongside his sister Pamela. And to say these two butt heads with their co-stars would be an understatement!
The duo formed many rivalries on the show before ultimately being eliminated during the October 19 episode.
Chatting to Yahoo! Lifestyle following his exit, George confessed that while he didn’t get along with all of his co-stars, he did patch things up with Jana Pittman.
“What I wish got shown was me making peace with Jana Pittman, because I can’t think of a more fantastic person than Jana Pittman,” he said.
“Yes, she misdirected us in that Indian ally, but at the Roadblock, which didn’t get played from episode one, we actually cleared the air and worked really well together.”
He added: “No one impresses me more on that cast than Jana Pittman, a very highly qualified obstetrician at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Sydney, a mother of six children — including [her son] Corr who’s a fantastic person himself.
“I really hope their story continues to shine.”

George, 32, also said that there was an unusual dynamic among The Amazing Race cast. Particularly due to the contestants’ public profiles.
“I think the interesting thing with a celebrity season, and particularly for us, is our cast got announced while we were doing the race and that changed everything,” he explained.
“So some people were very upset they didn’t get much of a public reaction, and I can’t control that. I can’t control which of the cast Channel 10 launched with.”
He added: “They launched with me and Grant Denyer, and I’m glad they did because the ratings are up. I can’t help salty sour grapes, that’s not my problem.”
George spilling the beans about the series comes after a source dished that WAG and businesswoman Bec Judd was the “biggest diva” on set.
