The Real Housewives of Sydney’s Dr Kate Adams has dubbed herself the “underdog” of the new series reboot.

For those of you living under a rock, the ICONIC housewives show has returned for its second run.

And on October 16, the Bondi vet told The Daily Telegraph that she was very different to the other ladies on the show.

“I kind of go into this like the underdog,” the 40-year-old said. “I’m not married and I don’t have any children and there’s a lot about me that’s different [and] I think it shows that.”

The businesswoman also admitted that her nerves got the better of her whilst filming the first episode.

“I didn’t realise that I was so serious. Maybe it was just for the first episode because I was a little nervous,” she dished.

“When I entered that room for the first time and all of the women were there, you can see in my face that my stomach was in my mouth… I just stood there like a stunned mullet.” And girl, we’d act the same way!

Real Housewives of Sydney’s Kate Adams says the portrayals on the show are accurate

When asked about the way things were portrayed, Kate said she had “no idea the response would be so big”

“You never know how people will react, whether you’ll be loved or hated. And honestly, the response has been joy.”

She also spilled some tea on the rest of the season, stating that so far, everything has been portrayed exactly as it happened.

“The story has been told correctly,” she explained. “All I can hope for future episodes is that it remains that way. This isn’t a produced show, what I need is for that story to be told the way it happened.”
