The Block 2023‘s Kyle and Leslie Cottone‘s worksite was shut down for the night after making a big no-no while tools were still operating.
There are a litany of reasons we’ve seen be the cause of shutdowns on The Block over the years, from tradies not completing their compliance training to dodgy antics behind the scenes.
Now, as reported in episode 320 of the So Dramatic! podcast, drinking on-site was the downfall for House One.

One insider slid into our DMs to reveal that Kyle and Leslie had to pull the plug on all works one night after Kristy Beams bought them a carton of beer.
“You are allowed to drink on The Block, but not until after tools down,” the source explained.
“They were drinking before tools down, hence why they got shut down.”
Fair enough, safety first!
The Block producers are anticipating a dramatic grand finale
The behind-the-scenes tea comes as The Block insiders revealed that producers are scrambling to make the grand finale auction as painless as possible for all Blockheads.
“Insiders are tipping House 3 will make the most money and that is not going to go down well with viewers who have savaged Kristy and Brett [Beams]‘s behaviour throughout the series,” a source told Yahoo! Lifestyle.

It’s even believed that some contestants will be separated during the filming process due to post-production fallout.
