The Bachelorette Australia 2019‘s Jamie Doran has spilled more deets about why he dropped his lawsuit against the show’s production company, Warner Bros.

The 43-year-old announced his plans to file a lawsuit against the production company in July 2020, citing a lack of duty of care.

However, as revealed in episode 316 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it was reported that the reality star was forced to drop the case after “the insurer presented too many arguments as to why Jamie was bullsh*tting.”

Now, as reported in episode 317, Jamie himself came forward to explain the situation.

“In regards to the legal case, I only have myself to blame: the podcast, the boxing, going to events, etc,” he told So Dramatic!.

“They basically said: ‘How badly are you suffering if you’re doing all this stuff!’

“I guess they want you to lock yourself in a dark room for years on end,” he joked. And fair enough!

As a result of legal proceedings, Jamie was under a strict media ban. This prohibited him from talking about his time on the show until early November 2020.

However, he spoke to the So Dramatic! Podcast in his first-ever unabridged interview since exiting the franchise, in which he detailed his grievances with his depiction on TV.
