Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2024‘s Joey Bobbin has been EXPOSED for dating MULTIPLE women at the same time then DUMPING them to appear on the show. And yes, we’re just as confused as you are.
It turns out the world’s “most successful” dating show isn’t as wholesome as it seems after one potential lead has already been busted for being shady AF.
During their explosive tell-all interview in episode 315 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Kat and Maddy, who both claimed to have been dating the farmer, spilled the beans to host Megan Pustetto.
Sh*t first began to surface when the girls saw the 33-year-old pop up on the FWAW Instagram account amongst the shortlist of farmers for 2024. And after exchanging timelines, they realised they’d both been dating him at the same time.
Kat started seeing the sheep and cattle farmer at the end of April before he called things off around July 18.
Meanwhile, Maddy matched with him on Tinder on June 12. The pair dated briefly before he broke up with her on July 24, when he told her he was thinking of joining the famed dating show.
The potential lineup of 2024 farmers was then announced the following day on July 25, so was he even serious about any of these ladies?

To make matters worse, Kat and Maddy put on their investigator hats and found out that Joey was dating SEVEN other women at the same time as he was seeing them. And did somebody say superspreader?
According to Kat, these women were “all lined up” so that if one was busy, he’d go straight to the next girl on his list. This sh*t is giving Ciarran Stott a run for his money!

Not only is he a star super spreader, but it turns out Farmer Joey isn’t even a real farmer. And this sounds all too familiar…
“He lives on acreage, but there’s not an operational farm. He works in the mines,” Kat dished, explaining that he’s actually a fly-in fly-out worker in between being a ‘farmer’.
“He’s working in the mines to put money away to live his dream of being a farmer later on,” she clarified.
Joey also admitted that he wasn’t looking for anything serious, telling Maddy that he’d only go on the show “for a bit of fun” and wasn’t interested in finding a wife.
And we’re starting to think FWAW isn’t as legit as we thought it was…

After their discovery of Joey’s shady antics, Kat and Maddy emailed the FWAW casting team to expose the rogue farmer.
“We sent screenshots of him saying ‘I’m only going on the show for fun and I’m not looking for a wife’, as well as proof that he works in the mines,” Kat dished.
However, production turned a blind eye and ignored the emails. Yikes!
And to make matters worse, the potential farmer has reportedly been telling his mates that producers reckon the negativity will be “good” for him as it’s giving him popularity. And so much for a wholesome dating show!
Sounds like Joey might have been a better fit for FBoy Island. Just saying!
