Married at First Sight Australia 2019‘s Jules Robinson has dragged the show’s problematic Photo Ranking challenge and somebody had to do it!

The controversial challenge sees contestants rank photos of their co-stars in order of physical attractiveness.

During an interview with MailOnline, the former reality star, who’s now married to her on-screen match Cam Merchant, dished her true thoughts about the Photo Ranking challenge.

“What’s the positive in doing [it]?” she questioned.

“When I was in that experiment, there was no one that I would be matched with other than Cam. I would’ve down-right said: ‘No, I’m not doing this.'”

MAFS’ Jules Robinson says nothing good can come from the Photo Ranking challenge.

According to the 41-year-old, there’s “no benefit” in doing the Photo Ranking challenge when you’re in a relationship.

“Unless the person has some emotional intelligence, and knows to put their partner at the top, I just don’t think anything good can come from it,” she explained.

However, we know from experience that people lack this “emotional intelligence”.

Who could forget when 2023 groom Shannon Adams moved his on-screen wife Caitlin McConville down the rank after telling her that the other brides were more naturally beautiful than her? Ugh.

“But let’s face it, they [match] five couples that have a possible chance and five just for car crash television,” Jules laughed, hinting that the challenge was merely designed to cause chaos. And true that!
