Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Ella Ding has been called out for promoting problematic psychologist Jordan Peterson on her Instagram Story and at this point, we’re not surprised.
The former TV bride recently came under fire for suggesting that “mindfulness” could cure “terminal illness”, which she’d learnt from Dr Joe Dispenza. A.K.A, someone who isn’t a medical professional.
And on August 29, the Sit With Us podcast host decided to share more uninformed opinions on the ‘gram.
“Driving to Pilates and listening to this,” she wrote across a photo of the RISE UP – Jordan Peterson Powerful Motivation podcast episode playing in her car.
“This is a really beautiful podcast episode for motivation. And to put things into perspective if you haven’t for a while,” she added.
Now, for those of you who don’t know, the Canadian psychologist has been deemed problematic for several reasons.
Not only is he outwardly transphobic, but he famously told The New York Times that “masculinity is in crisis” because of femininity.
He’s also asserted that “white privilege” isn’t real, and that women should “allow themselves to be transformed by nature into mothers,” and not take birth control. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg!

Many netizens took to the So Dramatic! Communi-TEA Facebook Group to voice their concerns about the Love Triangle host’s Instagram Story.
One user questioned whether the 29-year-old was trying to be “deliberately inflammatory to increase her engagement”, stating that “no woman is wilfully ignorant enough” to post the controversial psychologist to their stories.
However, many argued that it was probably a case of being uninformed.
“I don’t think Ella is ever trying to be inflammatory, I just think she doesn’t care about getting the full story,” one person responded.
Another said: “Judging from past form, I actually think Ella is ignorant enough to do that.”
Others claimed that Ella was “just unaware”. However, with her whopping 569,000 followers, a lil research would probably go a long way. Just saying!
