Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Duncan James has slammed his TV ex, Alyssa Barmonde, for exposing intimate details about their sex life during the experiment.
In August, Alyssa dished on the Back To Reality podcast that she and the cyber security salesman had lied about the first time they got down and dirty on the show.
“I do have a bit of a truth bomb,” she said. “We did not wait to intimacy week. So we had told everyone that we were waiting, that it never happened.”
She admitted they first had sex while on their honeymoon in Yarrawonga, Victoria.
“Look, I don’t want to throw him under the bus because I initially agreed with him,” Alyssa explained.
“But he had said, ‘Look, let’s not tell anyone about this. I feel like we’ll be a bit more respected if we just wait until after Intimacy Week’. And I was like, ‘That’s a good idea’.”
However, Duncan isn’t all too thrilled about the candid admission.
The 36-year-old told Yahoo! Lifestyle that he thinks “it’s disrespectful to discuss anything physical”.
“My focus is on my relationship with Evelyn, not something that happened last year,” he said.
“I won’t talk negatively about Alyssa and I wish her all the best.”

By now, it’s no secret that Duncan and intruder Evelyn Ellis are a couple, especially now that they’ve moved in together in Sydney.
Now, Alyssa has revealed Duncan asked whether he could share a bed with his now-bae during MAFS‘ infamous Partner Swap challenge.
During the TV Week Logies Awards on July 30, Duncan and Evelyn were asked during an interview whether sleeping in a bed with a member of the opposite sex should be considered cheating.
The former groom said it was cheating, whilst the MAXIM covergirl remained undecided.
Of course, this prompted Alyssa to spill the tea to So Dramatic!, dishing: “Not Duncan calling sharing a bed cheating, yet he wanted to share a bed [with] Evelyn [during the Partner Swap].
“I literally have receipts lol.”
In the voice memo, Alyssa explained that she asked Duncan if he planned on sharing a bed with Evelyn. However, he shockingly replied: “Where else am I going to sleep?”
Ooft, just when we thought the MAFS mess had died down…
