Married at First Sight Australia‘s Mishel Karen has claimed her co-star Seb Guilhaus was “anxious” ahead of his arrest for drug trafficking following a drug bust at his home in Adelaide.
As reported by The Advertiser, Seb is behind bars on remand after his Croydon home was raided by Serious and Organised Crime Branch detectives on July 28.
During the raid, police allegedly seized approximately 870 grams of methamphetamine, believed to have a street value of around $90,000.
Now, Mishel, who appeared alongside the TV groom in the marriage experiment in 2020, has alleged her buddy was “seriously anxious” in the days leading up to the bust.
In fact, she suspects the aftermath of his reality TV appearance is partially to blame.
The 52-year-old — who also works in the adult entertainment industry like Seb — said she noticed he was “stressed” when they both appeared at the LoveX Australia sex and porn convention in July.
“He was very nervous and stressed, he couldn’t relax,” she told an outlet. “I tried getting him on stage but he was seriously anxious.
“He was so together during MAFS, but it never leaves you. You get better after the show, but you always go down again.”
Mishel continued: “The thing with being on Married At First Sight is you’re never taken seriously again in your profession.
“He was a fitness instructor and the novelty of Seb being on reality TV is probably what people were interested in, rather than what he had to offer.”

Another of Seb’s co-stars (from both MAFS and OnlyFans), Hayley Vernon, told her followers she and the 35-year-old had been drinking mocktails together just two hours before his arrest.
Hayley stated that she couldn’t comment on the arrest. However, she knew Seb was “struggling with his mental health”.
“Seb was gravitating towards me to help and guide him. I just wish I’d have known what was actually going on so I could’ve helped him,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
