The 35-year-old was arrested on July 12 following an alleged domestic violence incident at a Bellevue Home on March 1, 2023. It came just weeks after charges against Harry related to the same incident were dropped.

Appearing at Sydney Downing Centre Local Court on July 19, Ashley pleaded not guilty to two domestic violence-related offences.

Her lawyer, Bryan Wrench, confirmed the allegations related to the same March 1 incident before making several claims about Harry, 25.

“We are concerned about the motivation of Mr Garside,” Mr Wrench said. “Mr Garside made a statement only after he discovered other people were coming forward.

“This is about allowing police to do a full and thorough investigation.”

He also alleged Harry admitted to “spitting” on his client.

Mr Wrench also raised concern over Harry’s recent Sunrise interview, during which he claimed to have surrendered his phone to the police.

“We’ve received the so-called videos that clear his name… They do not clear his name,” he told the court.

He added before being cut off: “He’s then on Sunrise saying he gave his phone over..”

Mr Wrench also said he was “surprised” Ashley had been charged and will be applying to learn why.

“We expect witnesses to be called on our behalf,” Mr Wrench said of the upcoming hearing.

“That includes tenancy witnesses to show Mr Garside has a history of domestic violence.”

Ashely’s appearance in court comes three weeks after she shared an Instagram post declaring she “will not be silenced”.

“The truth will prevail”.

Ashley has been granted conditional bail while facing charges of domestic violence-related common assault and stalking or intimidation intending to cause fear or harm.

She will face Sydney Downing Centre Local Court again later this year.
