Big Brother Australia star Skye Wheatley has responded to even more rumours she split from her longtime partner Lachlan Waugh after posting a very cryptic Instagram Story.
ICYMI: Skye’s social media has been giving fans whiplash after a number of posts hinted she and her baby daddy had separated, only for the speculation to be debunked by the 28-year-old.
Now, an off-handed Insta post has sent the influencer’s followers into a tizzy — again!
Taking to Instagram on July 5, Skye shared a thirst trap with a caption asking fans to “react” if they are “single and thriving”.
Seems like a random question to be asking if you’re not “single and thriving” yourself, hey?!
When asked whether she and Lachlan, with whom she shares sons Forest and Bear, had broken up, Skye shut down the rumours.
“No we aren’t [broken up],” she told So Dramatic!.
Why have fans previously assumed Skye Wheatley and Lachlan Waugh broke up?
First, Skye shared TikTok discussing her and Lachlan’s recent “co-parenting” arrangement, which sparked assumptions that the couple were no longer living together.
Then, Skye posted a YouTube video with a suss AF headline that described her as a “single mum”.
In the clip titled “Single Mum Life”, Skye shared various footage with her two sons.
However, Skye quickly cleared up speculation replying that “Lachy just went away”.
In the video, she also clarified that he was recently in China, so she was solo parenting.
