Jessika Power has shut down rumours she could return to Married at First Sight Australia following her breakup from UK podcaster Connor Thompson.
The influencer, who got rose to fame in the marriage experiment in 2019, confirmed to So Dramatic! in June that she’d split from Connor in what she called a “mutual decision”.
“We still care for each other, but things change and that’s normal,” she confessed.
With the 31-year-old back on the market after two years, fans have suspected she might revisit the show that made her famous.
“Will you ever go on MAFS again?” one fan asked her during an Instagram Q&A on June 30.
However, it’s a big no-go for Jessika, who broke down why a return to MAFS wouldn’t be worthwhile.
“In a short word, just no,” she replied.
“I think MAFS really has contributed to my relationships now, so I think doing MAFS again, I’d either find somebody who’s perfect or I’d find somebody who was the same as what I had last time,” she explained.
“Then I’d just continue to push myself back in my actual real-life relationships.”
Adding that a second stint “doesn’t sound like that much fun”, Jessika said the experience was “horrible”.
“It goes for a long time and we filmed for so long… Towards the end of it, I was so done,” she said. “But, yeah no, I just don’t think I have the patience anymore.”

After she and Connor called it quits, Jessika revealed she was, unsurprisingly, really torn up about it.
“I cried my tiny, little heart out and there is no water left in my body,” she told her Instagram followers. “I haven’t been eating, I haven’t been sleeping.
“All I’ve been [doing] is crying.”
Connor also confirmed the split on his own Instagram Story on June 22.
The podcaster said he had received “lots of messages” and had several articles sent to him, making him aware that the breakup was “now public knowledge”.
“Yes, Jess and I have decided to break up,” he wrote. “It’s the best decision for both of us and there’s no hate or anger on my part.
“Sometimes things just don’t work out.”
Connor added: “Jess is an amazing, misunderstood person and I genuinely hope she finds happiness back in Oz.”
