Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 fans have called Shelby a “snake” for throwing Clare under the bus in front of Farmer Brad‘s family.
During the May 1 episode, the farmers introduced their remaining ladies to their families. However, there was a twist.
The family members had to choose who would be going on the final 24-hour date. So as you’d expect, there was lots of not-so-friendly competition between the remaining women.
Shelby, in particular, ruffled a few feathers and her shady antics had fans talking.
Unless we missed a few chapters, the 30-year-old randomly decided that she wanted to take down Clare, her strongest competitor.
During her one-on-one chat with Brad’s brother Ryan, the boarding house supervisor confessed that she thought Clare was playing a game.
“The side that I see of Clare is different as to when Brad’s around,” she admitted.
“I just feel like there’s a façade and I don’t think Brad’s seen that, and I don’t know how he would feel if he did see that.”
FWAW fans took to Twitter to call Shelby out, as they thought she was playing dirty.
In the end, Brad’s family saw through Shelby’s transparent attempt to drag her castmates and picked Clare for the date. Now, what’s that thing they say about Karma?
Fans feel bad for Annabelle after she falls sick during the group date
Meanwhile, on Farmer Matt‘s farm, Annabelle couldn’t take the heat, literally. Between meeting the 23-year-old’s family and sitting out in the blistering sun, the hospitality team leader was sent to bed with a bad case of heatstroke.
Since it was a critical time in the quest for Matt’s heart, Annabelle feared that her sickness had taken her out of the race.
Many fans felt bad for Annabelle, stating that they’d feel the exact same if they were in her position.
However, some fans thought Annabelle wasn’t fit to live on a farm.
In the end, Matt’s family felt bad for Annabelle and chose her for the 24-hour date as she didn’t have “the same opportunity or the chance to spend time with him” as his other ladies.
One fan called it a “sympathy date” but hey, a date is a date!
Fans think Olivia is trying too hard
It seems like Matt’s ladies are a hit on Twitter, as fans have also been making fun of Olivia for trying too hard.
The 24-year-old has made it very clear that she’s determined to win the sheep and cattle farmer’s heart, but many people have found her exaggerated efforts “annoying”. And TBH, we think she’s giving teacher’s pet energy…
