The new season of MasterChef Australia 2023: Secrets and Surprises is so close to its start date that you can almost taste the delicious dishes from here.

So mark your diaries because, after 14 seasons of finger-licking food, MasterChef Australia is returning with season 15 to air on May 1 at 7:30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

What else do we know about MasterChef Australia 2023: Secrets and Surprises?

Just like the name suggests, MasterChef: Secrets and Surprises promises to be filled with unexpected twists and turns as a fresh bunch of kitchen hopefuls take on the challenge.

It will also see the show’s beloved judges Melissa Leong, Jock Zonfrillo and Andy Allen, return to the kitchen to guide the contestants and set some quite frankly terrifying tasks.

And in his first MasterChef appearance in over a decade, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver will join the show as a guest judge in the very first episode.

”I’m very, very excited to be back in the MasterChef Australia kitchen, and honoured to be kicking off the season of Secrets & Surprises alongside Jock, Andy and Mel,” Jamie said in a statement.

”I want to give the contestants some little nuggets of advice, some techniques and some thoughts most importantly, that might help them to navigate some of the big moments ahead.”

Channel Ten first confirmed MasterChef Australia was returning in November 2022 and would air “mid-2023”.

Just like previous seasons, the 2023 season of MasterChef will be filmed at Centenary Hall, Royal Melbourne Showgrounds.

MasterChef Australia 2023 will also see the return of Curtis StoneMaggie BeerPeter Gilmore and Rick Stein.
