Now, So Dramatic! has obtained a video shared by Tori to her Instagram Story, in which she details her struggles with social media since entering the public eye in 2019.

“So this is it,” she began the video. “I’m shutting down my Instagram after this, for good.

“I got this platform from Bride and Prejudice. I had my husband at the time and he’s no longer here, and I feel that every time I post, I have to post about my girls.”

Tori explained that as her daughters – Olivia-Rose, six, and Bella-Pearl, three – grow older, she “doesn’t want to exploit their life” online.

“I don’t want to post about them. I don’t want to post about myself anymore,” she added.

Tori Ciseau said she’s ‘not the poster girl’ for “tragedy” prior to her death

The former reality star said she was often asked how she “gets through” the tragedy in her life. However, she said she “is not the poster girl” for it.

“I still don’t know how I’m getting through [it]. I don’t believe that I can give any advice to anyone and I just want to live a normal life from here on out.

She continued: “I just don’t believe that this platform is correct and especially for my girls… And I don’t want to act like I know what to do when you’ve gone through so much tragedy.”

Tori Ciseau said ‘social media is the Devil’

Highlighting the struggles of being a public figure online, Tori — who had 17,000 followers — confessed she “doesn’t believe in social media anymore”.

“I don’t believe in it anymore,” she said. “For all of us that do; that’s great, but that’s not my life journey or where I want to be.”

Tori felt that her “platform” had “caused [her] more hurt than it’s done good”.

“For anyone out there that does want some advice — watch out,” she offered. “Social media is the Devil.

“You’re made to feel like you have to give things of your life when you don’t. I don’t need to give you anything about myself or my kids because I’m done, okay?”

Tori explained that she doesn’t “owe anyone anything” or an “explanation”.

“I do thank you for following me, that’s great, but other than that, this is literally just the end and I can’t deal with it anymore.”

Tori Ciseau begged people to leave her alone

The Bride and Prejudice participant reiterated that she “want[s] to be left alone”.

“As I said, I want to live a quiet life and make sure my girls are raised really well and they’re happy and they’re happy. That’s all I can wish for them.”

Tori added that she no longer wishes “to be recognised” when she’s out and about, nor “feel anxiety” when spending time with her daughters.

“I just want to be able to go to the shops and not be recognised anymore,” she said. “Just let them have a normal life.

“I just want them to have a normal life and I don’t think that’s really hard to ask.”

Tori Ciseau opened up about ‘disturbing’ trolling and death threats she received when Bride and Prejudice was airing

When her season of the controversial series was airing, Tori took to Instagram to slam trolls who sent “disturbing” messages.

“I have heard some really disturbing things in the last 24 hours and I’m not going to stand for it,” she penned in a Notes app statement.

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to get so invested in a TV show and then contact people off it just to tell them to kill themselves (or that they will kill them). It is revolting.”

The reality TV star went on to say that several cast members had also received death threats.

“Yes we are all on TV but we are real people with real emotions and to think something may happen to one of the cast members because these sick individuals are so invested in a show,” she wrote. “It is so wrong.”

Tori’s Instagram account has been removed since her death.

After James, Tori is the third star from season three of Bride and Prejudice to die tragically.

Micah Downey, who also appeared on the show in 2019 alongside his ex-fiancée Milly Johnson, died after a battle with substance abuse.

The American succumbed to a deadly cocktail of illegal and prescription drugs at the age of 26 on December 28, 2019.
