Married at First Sight Australia 2020‘s Hayley Vernon has revealed she blew thousands of dollars she made in earnings via her wildly successful OnlyFans career.
The reality star-turned-adult content creator admitted to her fans that she hasn’t been responsible with her earnings over the past year.
Taking to Instagram, Hayley said the “miscellaneous spending” had “hit home”.
“What does it take to blow $10,000 a year? Just $27.40 a day in miscellaneous spending,” she penned.
“Last week I saved about $280 in a week by not eating breakfast out and that wasn’t including all the lunches I would normally eat out. This year: one meal out a week. Even though I make great money, it’s time to be smart.”
The 35-year-old said that moving forward, she’s “living like [she] would have five years ago”.
“Seriously, I’m happier for it.”
The OnlyFans star is referring to a time when she was a finance worker hard-up for cash, who struggled with drug use.
“I never thought I’d be a girl in this situation. I was an ice addict for the biggest part of my adult life,” she said.
“The way in which my life is today, I could never, ever have imagined. [A few years ago] I was stealing food from Woolies and Coles, how does this happen?”

In a follow-up post, the sex worker detailed how she “wasn’t respecting the money [she] was earning”.
“I realised a few things last year… I was treating myself so often that my treats just became my lifestyle,” she wrote. “I was bored because I could just get what I wanted when I wanted.
“I wasn’t respecting the money I was earning and how much I would’ve, just a few years earlier. Don’t get me wrong, I was appreciative and grateful and still am, but I was being reckless to a degree.”
Now, she’s “the happiest” she’s ever been.
“That’s from going back to basics, and there’s a level of accomplishment that comes with that. I was being a flog and I’m not a flog.”
The budget crackdown comes after Hayley revealed she was earning up to $1.3 million on OnlyFans, as well as charging up to $950 an hour for high-class escort services.
