The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s polyamorous contestant Jessica Navin not only had a boyfriend IRL, but he drove her to her first Flash Date with Felix Von Hofe!
So Dramatic! previously revealed that the bridal shop stylist practices ethical non-monogamy and her bae was “100 per cent supportive” of her bid to win a Bachelor’s heart.
The source explained that he also “drove her to meet the Bachie on the show” and subsequently makes several appearances himself!
“They filmed them both [Jessica and boyfriend] at home here in Townsville for her backstory,” it was revealed in episode 242 of the So Dramatic! podcast.
“He actually appears on the show more than just the backstory bit. He is in the finale and also makes a number of other appearances on the show.”
Finale? Does that mean Jessica makes it all the way to Felix’s final two?!
While it seems the basketballer overcame the hump of Jessica’s unorthodox relationship practises, other sources tell us the revelation didn’t go as smoothly as you’d expect.

While Jessica was honest with her co-stars about her relationship status, she was yet to tell Felix when another contestant beat her to the punch.
One source said: “Jess had told all of the girls she was in an open relationship and she wasn’t trying to hide it, but she just hadn’t had a proper opportunity or found the right time to tell Felix.”
As such, Tash Candyce “took it upon herself to tell him”.
“Well, she didn’t tell him directly,” the insider clarified, “but she told Jed [McIntosh] who then told Felix.
“So Felix found out about it from Jed and not from Jess herself. He was very shocked when he found out but he didn’t send her home that night.”
Phew!

According to one contestant, Jessica’s co-stars said they felt like “would suck” being the real-world boyfriend.
“We were all like, ‘Holy sh*t, that’s pretty heavy… Imagine being the boyfriend’,” they said. “That was a huge drama and a big talking point throughout a lot of the show.”
The source also suggested that fans will see Jess “letting go of her boyfriend at home to then pursue things with Felix”.
“He comes on the show at one point and she tells him that she is going to pursue Felix so she breaks up with him.
“He was really supportive of her decision. He didn’t want to hold her back.”
