My Mum Your Dad Australia 2022’s Petula Seath used her psychic abilities to save the life of a woman she had never met.
ICYMI: The MYMYD alum has been open about being a psychic medium, even reading for her TV bae, Darren Lucas, during an episode of the hit show.
During an interview with So Dramatic!, the mum-of-three revealed that while waiting for one of her sons to get his haircut at a local barber shop, she saw a woman with a low cutback shirt on.
“I took my son to the barbers, and I was sitting there waiting for him, and a lady was behind me,” she said. “She came up to take her little boy to get his haircut in front of me, and she had a low cutback shirt on, and I saw this mole on her back.
“Instantly, I thought, ‘that’s cancerous; you need to tell her’.”
Initially, Petula decided not to say anything for fear that the woman would think she was “crazy” however, her psychic team continued to tell her she needed to alert the stranger.
“They’re like, ‘you need to tell her. You need to tell her.’ And then, by about the fourth time, they said, ‘it’s a matter of life or death.'”
“I just flew out of my chair, tapped her on the shoulder and said, ‘Look, excuse me, this might really sound weird, but I’m a medium and I’m really concerned about that mole on your back. Can I just have a chat.'”
The woman thankfully admitted she “believed” Petula, who told her what she had seen.
“She’s like, ‘oh my god, I’ve been putting off getting this checked for eight months’.”
Two months later, Petula — who lives in a small town in WA — ran into the woman again.
“I saw her at the coffee shop, and she pulled me aside, and she said, ‘thank you so much. I had it checked, and it was cancerous, and I have to get it removed!'” Jaw on the floor!

During the same interview with So Dramatic!, the 50-year-old admitted that a few weeks before the show began filming, she was “told” that she would meet a man on the show with a sign of the colour blue.
“I felt that I was going to make a connection,” she admitted. “And I knew that there was going to be a man, and the colour blue kept coming out. Then he came down and around the corner in his blue suit.”
The second Darren arrived (as we saw during Episode One), Petula thought to herself: “Oh my God! That’s him!
“That was what instantly popped into my head.”
While Petula “knew” about him, she didn’t know “how” their story “was going to unfold”.
“I choose not to know how it’s [life is] going to unfold,” she said of her abilities.
“I don’t want to be that person who reads the last page of a book; I want to enjoy every chapter.”
