Real Housewives of DC star Catherine Ommanney has opened up for the first time about her month-long fling with a young Prince Harry.
The TV housewife told The Sun that she was speaking so candidly about the romance — which occurred when she was 34 years old, and Harry was just 21 — as she did not expect the relationship to feature in the Duke of Sussex’s upcoming book, Spare.
Despite their 13-year age gap, Catherine divulged that she had the “time of [her] life” in 2006 with Harry, with whom she shared the “most passionate kiss [she’d] ever had”.
At the time, Harry was also in a long-term on-off relationship with socialite Chelsy Davy.
The England-born reality star, now 51, told the publication that the prince dreamed of living an ordinary life, and that his habit of sucking on lollipops led to her nicknaming him “Baby”.
However, the mother of three admitted that she has “doubt” she’ll feature in Harry’s book, despite the now 38-year-old revealing his ex-girlfriends would be mentioned in his memoir.
“I doubt I will be in Harry’s book as a prince can’t run off with a 34-year-old mother-of-two, it’s just not the done thing,” she said.

Catherine said she was separated from her ex-husband Stephen when the pair met in May 2006 at Art Bar in Chelsea, London.
She is unaware whether Harry was on a break from Chelsy at this point.
“We had some mutual friends in the property business and he introduced himself,” she explained. “Harry was wearing an Australian-style hat that made me laugh so I asked him, ‘What are you doing looking like a tw*t in that?’”
According to the interior designer, Harry wasn’t “used to people taking the Mickey”, which led to them getting to know each other more.
“Once we started talking, it was like there was no one else in the room,” she added.
Noting that his young age meant “a relationship was the furthest thing from [her] mind”, Catherine was “flattered” when Harry asked her to travel with him to the next location.
From there, their romance advanced to a “passionate kiss” at a friend’s home in Chelsea later that evening.
“We started play fighting and I think we were wrestling on and off for about 15 minutes when I told him I needed to go home,” Catherine recalled.
“It was then that he lifted me by my waist off the floor and held me against the wall. He gave me the most incredible, passionate kiss I have ever had in my life. I was absolutely speechless.”
The pair then met “a few more times” in “private bars” over the coming weeks.

After two more dates, Harry allegedly changed his phone number when rumours of their fling started circulating.
Catherine claimed she didn’t see the prince again until 2009 at a polo match in Barbados, a year after she married Charles Ommaney, whom she has since split from.
“Harry pushed past his bodyguards to give me a kiss and a hug and we had a great conversation,” Catherine said.
“In hindsight, it’s a shame we couldn’t have remained friends.”
