Married at First Sight Australia 2018‘s Nasser Sultan was refused entry at the Australia Recording Industry Awards (ARIAs) after discovering his name wasn’t on the list of invitees.
The controversial TV groom was spotted being turned away by event organisers at Sydney Hordern Pavilion on November 24.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, the 55-year-old was then embroiled in several heated phone calls while walking aimlessly outside the venue.
Nasser reportedly wanted to attend the long-running awards show as media in an attempt to interview musicians for an unknown website.
As such, he was stuck in a crowded pen with other journalists before sneaking onto the ACTUAL red carpet.
The publication said he “spent the rest of the evening narrowly avoiding security”. Once a pest, always a pest!
According to one source, the incident was a huge “reality check” for Nasser.
“Nasser thought he was there as one of the big celebrity guests, had spent weeks planning his outfit and thought he’d be walking the carpet and interviewing all the big names inside,” they admitted.
“He got a reality check when he arrived and found out he was stuck behind a barrier.” LOL!

Despite being knocked back at every turn, Nasser’s social media painted a different picture of his eventful night.
Taking to his Instagram Story, the MAFS personality — clad in his supposed well-thought-out get-up of jeans and a leather jacket — shared snippets of himself at the ARIAs.
“They’re rolling out the red carpet for me. These are my passes,” he said in a video before the event, flashing two wristbands.
“Stay tuned; I’m going to be looking, enjoying and um, interviewing some celebrities.”
He later shared a clip of himself drinking champagne before a pic of himself posing on the red carpet.
What’s more, is that Nasser actually got INSIDE the venue, from where he shared a three-minute video of the ceremony.
