Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Ella Ding has addressed whether she’s back with TV husband Mitch Eynaud after they were spotted getting cosy on the Gold Coast.
While their relationship crashed and burned once MAFS wrapped up filming in early 2022, one eagle-eyed fan recently clocked the pair together in Queensland, which spurred rumours of a reconciliation.
Now, Ella has clarified where she stands with her former bae, whom she says she only caught up with for “closure”.
Taking to the Facebook group for her podcast, Sit With Us, the 28-year-old said whispers that she and Mitch are back together are “just a rumour”.
“Mitch and I caught up when I was in GC [sic], which was nice to have some closure and just have the chat as we never did,” she explained.
“I’ve always said I like to remain amicable with my past people I let in.”
Ella then went on to say that she’ll be speaking about it further on her podcast in the future.
The clarification comes after Megan Pustetto reported in episode 230 of the So Dramatic! podcast that the pair were seen “having a good time” in early November.
One spy slid into our DMs, penning: “Spotted: Ella and Mitch from MAFS walking around Surfers Paradise together about an hour ago. I walked past them and had to do a double take.” No sh*t!
The source said it was “defs them”, noting they were “smiling and laughing”.
“So, back on good terms?”
When probed for more intel, the insider said Ella and Mitch were strolling “along the street front”.
“He is an actual flog, but yes, it seems like they are back on,” they added. “I wish I could have followed them for a scoop.” Us, too!
“If I didn’t know who they were, I would have thought they were a couple. They both just looked happy and like they were having a good time.”
