Batten down the hatches because the MASSIVE twist on Love Triangle Australia 2022 has FINALLY arrived.
**SPOILER ALERT: Do not read on if you haven’t watched episode four of Love Triangle.**
ICYMI: The Stan series (created by the executive producers of MAFS) sees six singles who spend three days chatting to two potential baes to form a connection. However, they have no idea what their suitors look like.
After texting up a storm, each single had to choose a partner before embarking on their first date and moving in with them.
While some were pleased, others were less than impressed and what?! Like dating online is hard?!
The series then began amping up over the next few eps, until episode four (released on October 20), when a bombshell of mammoth proportions was dropped. I.e. the ~pLot TwIsT!
What Was the MAMMOTH Plot Twist on Stan’s Love Triangle?
For the new twist, the Love Triangle voiceover asked: “What if I’d chosen differently?”
Now, the singles (including Kyle Romaior, Alex Dalton, Lisa Leaño Hopkins, Madi Clark, Yannick Samarasinghe and Ly-Huong Tran) were about to get the shock of their lives.
Looking down at their phones once again, the six blessed contestants then received a message…
A message from the goddamn other people they chose not to initially date, asking them for some one-on-one time!
BAM! Two becomes three. A love triangle, if you will…
To make matters worse, a naive Alex told his OG bae, Madison Orchard, “I’m in this experiment with no one else,” and lol, we smell an “I’m falling in love with my second option” a-coming!
While we’re sure fireworks are about to be set off, the episode finished with: “Say hello to what could have been”.
And say hello, indeed!
