Love Island Australia 2021‘s Lexy Thornberry has lowkey debuted her new boyfriend David Nyika and we hate to say it, but we told you so!
Following her stint on the show, Lexy generated controversy en masse with her short-lived relationship with her co-star Chris Graudins.
However, the duo split in May and fans soon speculated that she’d moved on with Olympic boxer David after the pair shared some content together on the ‘gram.
At the time, Lexy told So Dramatic! that the pair were NOT an item and that she’d just been training with the athlete as her boxing coach father was mentoring David.
Now, the 21-year-old has let slip that she IS dating the Kiwi, exclusively to So Dramatic!
“We’re dating now!” she said. Cute!
Lexy also revealed the news in a very telling Instagram Story.
Following a boxing match at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on October 16, David took to the ‘gram with a clip of the event where he kissed Lexy by the ring.
“How cute was my Jane though?” he captioned the post, seemingly referencing the yellow dress she wore akin to Jane Porter‘s in Tarzan.
Lexy shared the clip to her own Story, followed by a grid post musing that she was the “Jane to [his] Tarzan”.
“Me like,” David commented alongside several gorilla emojis.
