Married at First Sight Australia‘s Jo McPharlin has put her TV wedding dress on the market four years after appearing in the marriage experiment.

Fans will remember Jo — known lovingly as “Foxy Jojo” — from MAFS 2018, during which she wed Sean Donnelly.

To say the coupling was a trainwreck would be an understatement, and now, the 44-year-old is looking to get rid of the gown that started it all.

As reported in episode 221 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one listener slid into our DMs to reveal they clocked Jo in an Adelaide “buy, swap and sell” group on Facebook.

“This just came up in my newsfeed from a local Adelaide FB Marketplace group,” they told host Megan Pustetto.

“Jo McPharlin from MAFS season 5 in 2018 (AKA FOXY JOJO) [sic] trying to sell off her wedding dress.”

The A+ supersleuth also provided receipts (*chef’s kiss*); yup, the mum of two is trying to offload the ‘fit for a whopping $3,000!

What Did Married at First Sight‘s Jo McPharlin’s Marketplace Ad Say?

In the description, Jo says the Miles Preston Couture gown is a “one of a kind, plus size wedding dress” ideal for someone hoping to be a “celebrity princess for a day”.

“Will fit a gorgeous 18 – 24 size glamour as it has a corset back,” she advised.

Then, with a shameless MAFS plug, Foxy Jojo said those interested could suss out “more pictures and video” of the dress by Googling “Jo MAFS 2018″.

Noting that it was worn twice — “once on the wedding day, once for a photo[shoot] for channel 9” — Jo said the outfit is “clean in pristine condition and ready to go”.

Now we’ve gotta respect the hustle, but seriously, why has it taken so long to get rid of this cursed wedding dress?!

Jo isn’t the first TV bride to wave buh-bye to relics from her time on national telly.

Married at First Sight 2021‘s Beck Zemek auctioned off her wedding dress during her stint on Celebrity Apprentice 2022.

Ines Basic once advertised her gown on Instagram, while Beth Moore and Sharon Marsh took to Marketplace and eBay, respectively.
