Married at First Sight Australia’s Ines Basic has taken to Instagram claiming that she has been “cursed” by a demon.
After appearing on the show in 2019, the chaotic queen attracted a wave of hate. The edit painted her out to be the series’ villain, and a not-so-great ‘wife’ to Bronson Norrish.
This week, the legal secretary turned Only Fans model provoked concerns for her welfare after a series of distressing Instagram posts on Thursday. in which she claims an unnamed rival has hexed her and WTAF?
Married at First Sight’s Ines Basic Reveals She Was Suffering from Sleep Paralysis
In the posts, Ines explained that she was suffering sleep paralysis.
The condition sees someone temporarily unable to speak or move in the in between stage of waking up or falling asleep.
She then began the series of videos complaining about the frightening, albeit common, condition and that she couldn’t sleep because there was a “demon” in her room.
The MAFS star said she believed it to be “highly suspicious” that these episodes began, after she learned about a defamatory article which was published online.
“I reckon it’s a bit coincidental that someone wrote this really f*cking weird – like weird, I don’t even know how their brain went there,” she ranted.
“So weird article about me, and it’s just a bit coincidental that right now I’m getting these weird as f*ck sleep disturbances, hey.”
And later, “Has anyone had sleep paralysis before? I’m so scared. I think someone’s put a hex on me or sent me some really dark energy.”

She then posted another story where she admitted that she was “scared” for her life and would be involving the police and pressing charges against whoever had hexed her.
Ten hours later, she briefly explaining that she had spoken to police and would now be going offline.
It is unclear who the alleged dispute is with, or if Ines has in fact been hexed.
Previously, the reality star reported to have a strong distrust of the media after her villainous edit on Married at First Sight .
The edit led to a targeted street attack in 2019 and left her “under stress”. Following this, a friend reported “she doesn’t trust anyone.”
We really hope Ines is okay and the time offline provides her with some peace from the ongoing situation.
