Australia Reckons The Real Love Boat 2022 is Our New “Love to Hate-Watch” and You’re Not Wrong

Reality TV fans on Twitter have predicted that The Real Love Boat Australia 2022 will be the next big “love to hate-watch” hit.

During the October 5 premiere, viewers quickly took to social media to complain about how “fake” and “cringe” the brand new series seemed.

Some said The Real Love Boat was a carbon copy of literally every other reality show, while others wished they could be watching The Bachelor Australia instead.

But for every tweet hating on the new show, another predicted it would be Australia’s next big hit (although perhaps not always for the right reasons).

Early adaptors argued that The Real Love Boat was “trashy” and “cringe” because that’s what Australia wants, even if we can’t admit it to ourselves!

Australians love to hate watch. Like why are you all complaining about the #TheRealLoveBoatAU being trash when you are watching trashy reality TV. It’s to be expected and it’s why we love it. Watch literally anything else if u don’t like it.

#TheRealLoveBoatAU is not too bad, it's a mixture of Bachelor in Paradise, Love Island and MAFS. From next week I can only tune in on Thursdays as Kitchen Nightmares will be on Channel 7 on Wednesdays
