Married at First Sight Australia‘s Stacey Hampton has shared a series of heartbreaking images of her two young sons bravely attending their father Shane Smith‘s funeral.
The former MAFS bride shares sons, Kosta, six, and Kruz, four, with the former senior Rebels bikie boss, who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Adelaide on September 7.
According to reports, emergency services were called to Adelaide’s Redwood Park after it was revealed a motorcyclist and his male passenger had crashed. While the other person was taken to hospital, 38-year-old Shane died at the scene.
In the images posted to Instagram on September 26, Stacey and her sons wore matching all-black outfits.
“Proudest mother,” she captioned the pictures.
In the comments, Stacey was inundated with support from her friends, family and fans, with one writing: “Thinking of you all.”
“Sending much love and light to you all… I do hope the boys are coping okay as well as yourself,” another comment read.
Others said: “Much love today” and “Sending lots of love.”
Stacey also shared images of her sons on her Instagram Story, which were captioned: “Very proud of my boys today”.
The post was accompanied by love heart emojis.
Friends Gifted Stacey Hampton’s Sons with “Comfort Kits”
Friends also gifted Kosta and Kruz with heartwarming gifts to help them mourn the loss of their father.
The “comfort kits” contained several items to help the young boys cope with their grief.
“Bubbles to practice deep breathing, a stress ball for squeezing when they have big feelings, a cuddly sheep, so they are never alone, a book to help this make sense,” the caption explained.
The touching package also contained a mug with photos of the boys with their father, “for when they feel like having a drink with daddy”.
As well as a “starry night” for “those nights when you want daddy in heaven to visit you in your dreams.”
Stacey Hampton Reveals “Life Goes On” After the Death of Former Partner, Shane Smith
Stacey recently paid tribute to her bikie ex and revealed that “life… goes on” after the death of Shane.
Taking to her Instagram Story on September 13, Stacey revealed she had been inundated with messages of support.
“I’ve been unindated [sic] with messages and support,” she said. “Flowers and the rest. I’ve seen it all, and I appreciate every single one of you.”
The former MAFS bride updated her fans on how they are coping following the tragic death.
“Unfortunately, with life, it goes on,” she said. “The boys need to try and live a normal life considering, and I’m trying my hardest to make them smile.”
“It’s waking up everyday [sic] knowing they are hurting, that hurts the most. It doesn’t matter what anyone says; a child who is 7 and 5 [sic] should never lose their father.
“We are doing our best to live normal lives,” she added before saying: “It’s not about me or anyone else; it’s about those innocent children. Always has been and always will be.”
In subsequent posts, she showed her boys enjoying sweet treats.
“Is it hard?” she said. “Absolutely. My heart breaks for them.”

On September 8, Stacey paid tribute to Shane, praising him and dubbing him an “amazing father” to their two sons,
“He is now at peace with his brother, mother and friends,” she told Nine News.

The TV bride continued by saying Shane “had a heart of gold” and “adored his family and friends”.
How did Stacey Hampton and Shane Smith Meet?
Stacey and Shane met when she was just 19 years old through “mutual friends”, Stacey told Who Magazine in 2020.
“I wasn’t aware of his lifestyle,” she said. “But I fell for him so quickly.”
The former MAFS alum dated the Rebels’ Adelaide president until 2017. A month later, he was convicted of bashing two nightclub bouncers.
The news follows the death of Stacey’s brother, who also died in a motorcycle accident when she was just 21.
