Love Island UK 2021 star Hugo Hammond is taking his search for love international, with one fan clocking the reality star on dating app Hinge in Melbourne.
The 26-year-old shot to fame on the seventh season of ITV’s hit dating show last year and is remembered as one of the unluckiest Islanders in the villa.
Hugo had his fair share of recouplings, however, the short-lived romances never amounted to anything post-show.
His profile is littered with happy snaps, many of which can be found on his Instagram page — meaning it could totally be a catfish account, but bear with us…
According to Hugo’s Hinge account, his go-to “cry-in-the-car-song” is Heartbreak Anniversary by Giveon.
Meanwhile, he cited that his “worst idea” was going on reality TV and gave his Instagram a shameless plug. Ouch @ the many girls he tried to woo on international telly…
He also claimed he “recently discovered” that his Hinge profile is “great for TikTok views” so long as “you don’t laugh”.
Is Love Island UK‘s Hugo Hammond Actually In Australia — and Is That Really Him On Dating App Hinge?
Now, back to the theory that this is a catfish account.
The listener who slid into our DMs revealed that Hugo’s social media indicates he’s recently been Down Under.
“His TikTok says he’s in Aus,” they dished, adding more specifically, “Brighton, [Victoria]”.
And yup, on August 25, the Love Island star dished that he was heading to Australia via a video about *checks notes* his haircut.
“Mullet do be mulleting,” he penned over a TikTok of his then-new do.
The caption read: “Aus ready 🇦🇺 🍻.”
