Long-time radio host Kate Ritchie has returned to her Nova radio gig after her drink-driving scandal.

Kate was found to be over the legal limit while driving in Sydney’s Eastern on August 22, returning breathalyser results of 0.06, according to Daily Mail Australia.

Sharing a selfie with her co-hosts Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey, the 44-year-old revealed she has returned to the studio following three weeks’ leave.

“Back with the gang on set today,” Kate wrote in the caption.

Joel commented: “She’s back, baby! Love you and can’t wait to bants with you.”

It comes after rumours circulated that Australian Idol icon Ricki-Lee Coulter could be Kate’s permanent replacement, as she had been filling in for the Home and Away actress while she was on leave.

Kate Richie Shared an Apology for a “Low Level” DUI

Kate took to Instagram on August 29 to address the drink-driving infringement, and TBH, it was honestly impressive how little effort she (or her management) put into the apology.

“Recently, I undertook a random breath test. Although it was low-level, the test came back positive. I made a poor decision, and there is no doubt I understand the seriousness of my actions. I am truly sorry [sic],” Kate wrote in the post.

The former Home and Away actress didn’t caption the post and turned off comments.
