Married at First Sight Australia‘s Ryan Gallagher and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!‘s Emily Seebohm may have struck up a romance while filming The Challenge Australia.
Paramount+’s new sports-cross-reality show has just wrapped up filming and a bunch of its reality star-studded cast is already embroiled in drama.
First, we had The Bachelor franchise’s Konrad Bien-Stephen and Megan Marx reportedly knocking boots. Now, word of a second fling has crawled its way out of the series.
As reported in episode 213 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Ryan and Emily became increasingly close on the set of The Challenge.
So much so that they’re even travelling through America together post-filming!
In recent days, the pair have both shared content from Nashville, Tennessee, as well as at a Dallas Cowboys NFL game. However, none of the photos have featured the pair together.
A fellow The Challenge Australia contestant told So Dramatic! host Megan Pustetto that they did see a flame between Ryan and Emily while on the show.
“I did think they might end up together,” they dished. “But as far as I knew they were just friends. She [Emily] has a boyfriend.
“Maybe they just didn’t get a ticket back and decided to travel.”
Who Is Emily Seebohm’s Boyfriend?
While the relationship remained relatively under wraps, Emily debuted her romance with a mystery beau in May 2021.
Emily has never publicly named her partner, however, he did feature in several Instagram posts throughout the year which have since been deleted.
The quiet relationship came after Emily split up from radio host David “Luttsy” Lutteral, whom she dated from 2019 to March 2021.
Prior to this, the Olympian was in a high-profile relationship with fellow Aussie swimmer Mitch Larkin from 2016 to 2018.
The duo parted ways amid rumours that Mitch had cheated on Emily, despite the athlete denying infidelity on his part.
Ryan, on the other hand, is known for his tumultuous TV marriage with Davina Rankin on MAFS 2018. He then went on to have a brief romance with Geordie Shore‘s Charlotte Crosby after meeting on I’m a Celebrity in 2020.
