The Bachelor Australia 2021‘s Holly Kingston and Jimmy Nicholson may have just recently announced their engagement, but Holly is well underway with wedding planning.
The duo, who met on the hit dating series just last year, revealed on August 28 that Jimmy popped the question during a recent trip to Italy.
Now, the 27-year-old bride-to-be has taken to Instagram to enlist the help of her followers with some key elements of her pending nuptials.
On September 6, Holly shared several suggestions fans had given her, particularly ways to make the big day more cost-effective.
“INCOMING: YOUR TIPS,” she penned. “[Buy] booze from Dan Murphy’s. If you don’t get through it all, you can return to any store and get your [money] back.”
Another suggestion was to ask for a birthday cake rather than a wedding cake, as it “reduces costs significantly”.

The Bachelor contestant also spilled that her followers suggested purchasing her wedding dress at least six months in advance to allow for alterations.
An additional dress for the reception was also advised: “[A second] party dress was recommended by at least 200 of you wishing you had a change.”
Following their engagement announcement, Holly and Jimmy shared the sweetest video of the proposal online.
“The moment we’ll rewatch over & over for a lifetime,” the pair penned.
Revealing that the proposal “has meaning that goes back to the very first time [they] met” on The Bachelor, the couple mused that their “love story is a bizarre one”.
“But it’s OUR one. We are so grateful to be able to share these milestones with you, particularly those who have supported our journey since day one.”
