Confirmed! The Challenge Australia 2022’s Megan Marx has broken up with Keith Newman, and now he’s spoken about the cheating rumours surrounding their split.
ICYMI: While filming the new reality show in Argentina, Megan allegedly hooked up with The Bachelorette 2021’s Konrad Bien Stephen — prompting questions about her relationship status.
Meanwhile, her former bae, Keith, was still posting up a storm on Instagram, even though Megan had wiped every trace of him AND was spotted cosying up to her ex-girlfriend, The Bachelorette’s Carissa Croft.
What Did Keith Newman Say About His Breakup with Megan Marx?
As reported in episode 211 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Keith has confirmed that the pair split; however, they remain good friends.
In a DM sent to host Megan Pustetto, Keith said that the whole saga had gotten “out of control”.
“Megan and I broke up a few months ago. She put her things in storage and went travelling as she didn’t want to move into a new place before going away,” he said.
“We have still been spending time together as we do love each other (and are best mates) despite everything.”
Keith then confirmed that his former girlfriend was “not a cheater” and that “this dialogue has to stop”.
“It’s not nice for me or her. I’m hoping we can get back together sooner or later.”
He then said that while he didn’t “love” the media attention, he at least wanted what was out there to be “true”.
“I’d like to protect Megan as much as possible.”
Megan Marx and Keith Are Trying to Make Things Work
Even though Keith set the record straight, another reliable source revealed some more intel into WTAF was going on.
“Keith and Megan broke up three to four months ago,” the source dished. “She went to Bali to heal, and that’s when she wiped him from her socials.”
Like Keith, the insider went on to say that they were “trying to make things work” however, they weren’t together when the reality star went to film The Challenge.
“She’s always been scared of committing. I don’t think she’ll ever get it together.”
