The Bachelorette’s Ali Oetjen told fans on Instagram that she manifested being transported to a different location with her “powerful” imagination. Umm… whut?
The reality star-turned-wellness influencer made the bizarre claim on August 16, suggesting she discovered a newfound ability to transport her “heart and cells” to the beach before her body had made it there.
Ali posted about the strange occurrence on her Instagram Story, sharing a photo of her smart-watch as “proof” that she transported 40 km away.
“This has absolutely tripped my mind! [While} driving in the car from the gym to the beach, I was imagining transporting my cells and heart from the gym to the beach instead of driving,” Ali wrote in the since timed-out Story.
It doesn’t matter how often you re-read that statement; it never gets any less confusing… Ali seemingly agreed, adding: “I know that sounds weird, but I believe we are so powerful.”
The Bachie alum told her 232k Insta followers that she turned her smartwatch to a “walking” setting after she got out of the car.
She checked the device “one minute” into her walk and was surprised with the alleged results.
“It said I’d walked 40km. I literally did it, & transported myself & cells 40 kms!!! MIND ABSOLUTELY BLOWN [sic],” she claimed.
Her watch showed that she had walked 1.34 kilometres (km) and had moved at a speed of 40.5 kilometres per hour (km/h).
So Dramatic! has reached out to Ali for comment and clarification.
