It has been 13 years since Jordan Finlayson was on Beauty and the Geek Australia and the former reality star has now been sentenced for stealing credit cards from men.

Appealing to Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court on August 3, Jordan admitted to stealing credit card information from three male customers at a buck’s party when she was working as a waitress in 2022.

“The buck’s party was a pool party and the guests put their bags in the front room, leaving their wallets and possessions,” court documents read, according to News.com.au.

Jordan allegedly took photos of three men’s driver’s licences and 10 debit cards.

The men eventually noticed that there were multiple transactions made on their cards without their knowledge.

These included Uber rides, coffee purchases, Centrelink repayments and a $4,900 gambling service charge.

The former Beauty and the Geek star was sentenced to a Community Corrections Order, which will be served in the community for 12 months. She will have another parole hearing after that time, where she will be given the opportunity to attend rehabilitation.

What Was Beauty and the Geek Australia‘s Jordan Finlayson Charged For?

Jordan was arrested on February 17, and allegedly found with photos of three men’s New South Wales driver’s licenses and 10 debit cards on her phone.

The 31-year-old was charged with possession of identity information with the intention of committing fraud in late January. She was already on parole for another offence at the time.

Jordan pledged not guilty in March but altered her plea in July.

Her defence barrister, Daniel Grippi, told the court that Jordan should receive less time incarcerated due to her plea change, instead attending a residential drug rehabilitation centre.

“This is not a trifling offence; it carries seven years’ imprisonment,” Magistrate Alison Viney said.

“People steal identity information for a whole raft of nefarious purposes,” she explained to Jordan. “Not saying that was your intent, but somebody got ahold of this information which you acquired and they did put it to use.”
