It turns out that Hunted Australia isn’t Stathi Vamvoulidis (full name Stathi Vamvoulidilopoulos)’ first time hoping to win big on national TV after the fugitive appeared on the game show Millionaire Hot Seat last year.
As spotted by a So Dramatic! sleuth, Stathi won $10,000 on the hit show in 2021 and is now hoping to win a share of $100,000 on Hunted Australia.
Stathi – who was described on Millionaire Hot Seat as a refugee case worker – was previously revealed to have a strong advantage on Hunted Australia, having formerly worked in the Australian Border Forces Marine Tactical Unit.
“I got exposure to surveillance techniques and strategies that’s really required if you’re gonna be on the run,” Stathi said during the July 18 episode of Hunted Australia,

Stathi signed up as a Hunted Australia fugitive with his best friend Matthew Bergin, hoping to use his share of the prospective prize money towards his goal of becoming a father.
He hopes to have a family through surrogacy, where costs are estimated to start at $40,000 and can easily spike up.
The humanitarian worker revealed there were even more roadblocks for him to find the right surrogate as a gay man, but he said he was proud to represent the LGBTQI+ community on Hunted Australia.
