The Bachelorette Australia 2018’s Daniel “Danny” Harris-Wolf has accidentally shared Hunted Australia’s Stathi Vamvoulidis’ military past.

Exclusively obtained by So Dramatic!, Dr Danny’s Instagram story revealed that he used to work with Stathi in the Australian Border Forces Marine Tactical Unit.

The chiropractor – who appeared in Ali Oetjen’s Bachelorette season – joked it was a “small world” after spotting his former colleague on 10’s new hit show.

Who Is Hunted Australia fugitive Stathi Vamvoulidis?

Hunted Australia fans got to learn a little more about Stathi and his best friend Matthew Bergin on July 18.

Stathi hoped to win a share of the $100,000 prize money to put towards his goal of becoming a father through surrogacy.

“We have multiple strategies going into the game to evade capture,” Stathi said, while joking about the “three D’s they would be using.

“Decoys, disguises and BEEEEP!” LOL!

While Stathi was very open about his two-decade-long friendship with Matthew and his motivations to win, he kept tight-lipped about his past training.

Stathi revealed that prior to his role as a humanitarian worker, he worked in “surveillance”. Totally not vague at all…

“I got exposure to surveillance techniques and strategies that’s really required if you’re gonna be on the run,” Stathi said.

Compared to Jacob “Jake” Rozario, who was immediately revealed to be a police officer, it seems the Hunted Australia editing team were hoping to keep Stathi’s military background hush-hush for a while longer. Whoops!
