The Bachelorette Australia 2021’s Brooke Blurton has responded to Darvid Garayeli‘s BRUTAL comments about the current status of their relationship.
ICYMI: During an Instagram Q&A on June 21, a follower asked the reality star whether he was “still friends” with his ex. Alongside a photo of a fireplace, Darvid penned: “It’s a strong no from me 💀.” Yikes!
Now, Brooke has responded to the savage burn, saying that there is just “so much drama”.
“Post-show, people are making up so much drama and horrible things… everyone should have the liberty and choice over how to live their life,” she said in a new interview with the Herald Sun.
“I’m not going to be made to feel that I constantly live in that space. I’m a bit more of a realist, I think it shows maturity,” she continued.
“I’ve grown up quite quickly, [other] people show their true colours.”
Brooke Blurton and Darvid Garayeli Split Did Not End Amicably
Just one month after The Bachelorette finale, Darvid revealed he and Brooke had parted ways.
“Starting the new year off with an end to a chapter and hopefully the beginning of another,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Unfortunately Brooke and I have parted ways. Whilst we both genuinely thought we were each others [sic] person, things change and that’s okay.”
However, in February 2022, Brooke came out swinging against her ex, claiming his shock breakup announcement “silenced” her.
Following this, Darvid shared a screenshot of an article, asking: “When will it end?” before the 27-year-old added that it was “never [his] intention” to humiliate his ex.
