One Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022 contestant got paid a huge lump sum to appear on Channel Nine’s hit reality show.
Former Married at First Sight bride and season six participant Beck Zemek recently sat down with So Dramatic!‘s Megan Pustetto to chat all things boardroom. And damn, did she spill the tea!
Beck revealed that the pay for Celebrity Apprentice was “really good” compared to MAFS — which, TBH, isn’t hard when they were getting next to nothing per day!
According to the TV bride, the majority of the contestants received an appearance fee, plus a pay packet per episode that they appeared in. For Beck, it was over $50,000.
Ideally, this meant the longer you stayed on the show, the more money you’d pocket for both your charity and yourself.
However, this wasn’t the case for eventual winner Benji Marshall, who signed onto the show with a set salary.
“He didn’t have an episode [payment], he just had a lump sum,” Beck said, noting producers spent big to get him on board. “So, to make the most out of his lump sum, you need to keep him to the end.”

Benji previously discussed his Celebrity Apprentice pay in an interview with Triple M’s The Monday Scrum show in May.
The NRL great said within the first week, a number of contestants had discussed how much money they’d signed on for.
“People started talking about how much they were getting paid and a couple of them said an amount and I just agreed and said, Yeah same’… But I was [making] way over [what they were],” he admitted.
“Let’s just say I was very happy.”
The former South Sydney Rabbitohs star also revealed he asked Channel Nine to “double” their original offer before signing onto the series.
