Home cooking at its finest is back with My Kitchen Rules Australia 2022 (MKR) and with it, real people cooking REAL food!
Known as “Australia’s favourite cooking show” (although fans of MasterChef Australia would beg to differ), the series is back with an exciting new season following the exit of controversial judge Pete Evans.
Here’s everything you need to know about My Kitchen Rules 2022.
What Is My Kitchen Rules Australia 2022 About?
Competing in couples, real Aussie will give it their all to convince Nigella and Manu that they are the best home cooks in the country. Both judges will travel around Australia as they critique a new batch of passionate home cooks.
“When you think about the food you love, it’s nearly always home cooking,” Nigella said in a June 16 promo for the show.
“I’m a home cook and it’s the food that I want to eat. I’ve come 17,000 kilometres to find Australia’s best home cooks!”
Who Will Host My Kitchen Rules Australia 2022?
As we’ve already mentioned, Manu and Nigella will head up the judging team on MKR.
“As MKR judges, we make the perfect team with our years of experience in professional and home kitchens respectively,” Manu said in a statement. “And as lovers of delicious food and a fabulous dinner party, I can promise you we’re also going to have a lot of fun!”
Also joining the cast is former MasterChef Australia judge Matt Preston, who will appear alongside Colin Fassnidge and Curtis Stone.
Can You Apply for My Kitchen Rules Australia?
Unfortunately, applications have already closed to be a part of the 2022 series, however, with talent like Nigella, there will no doubt be a 2023 season!
As for who is in the new cast of cooks, we’ll just have to wait and see!
