Married At First Sight Australia icon Jules Robinson was rushed to hospital on Saturday, May 28, after an accident on the set of a Figur photo shoot on the Gold Coast.
The 40-year-old, who owns the curvy intimates brand, slipped on wet tiles in the kitchen of their newly purchased Broadbeach home, consequently breaking her arm.
Cameron Merchant, Julesā IRL husband and former TV groom, told Nine Honey that it was āproper brokenā with Jules confirming on Instagram that she was set to undergo surgery later this week.
Ever the professional, Jules was back in action at a launch event on Sunday, where her brand Figur was collaborating withĀ Maisey & Oscar homewares.
Together they created gorgeous āwrap yourself in loveā towels, adorned with body positive and self-love affirmations.
Cam also joked that Jules had āeven asked the hospital staff if the arm cast could be in Figur colours so she could stay on brandā. Uh, does white count?
Jules Robinson Was In Hospital TWICE in 48 Hours
Days after the initial accident, Jules returned to the hospitalās emergency room because her cast was too tight and her fingers were blown up like ālittle sausagesā.
She revealed on her Instagram Stories that she had been stuck in the hospital for more than four hours in the middle of the night after a miscommunication, however, finally felt relief after having the tight cast removed.
āI can safely say this is the biggest pain in the ass Iāve ever had,ā Jules said from her hospital bed.
āCurrently having this thing taken off before I have surgery [later] in the week because it was so tight that my hands were like little sausages. Um bit of miscommunication coming into emergency, they thought I was waiting to see a surgeon. No!
āI was just waiting for this to be happening. So Iāve been here for about four and a half hours. Oh the joy! [sic]ā
Jules explained she had sent her arm āsome healing vibesā while stuck in the hospital. LOL, who needs doctors anyway?
How Is Jules Robinson Feeling Now?
The former MAFS star went on to tell her millions of Instagram followers she was feeling āso much better already,ā holding up her cracked open cast.
āDonāt ever break your arm people, it is no fun at all,ā she warned. Ā
āI canāt express how nice it was in between temporary cast to stroke my arm up and down, close my eyes and feel the sensations,ā she wrote. Lol! TMI Jules!
Nearly two hours later, she seemed to be finally heading home for some well-deserved beauty sleep but revealed she would have to return early the next morning.
