Celebrity Apprentice 2021 star Lorna Jane Clarkson has stepped back from the series, with entrepreneur Nick Bell taking her place as Lord Alan Sugar’s newest advisor.
Alongside Boost Juice founder Janine Allis, the 41-year-old counsels the contestants through various challenges hoping that they will not face the boardroom and be fired.
Now, the businessman has revealed just how real the series is.
Speaking to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Nick revealed that the “serious drama” we see on-screen is not “contrived”.
“The narrative is not controlled; I thought going in there it would be contrived — I was completely wrong. The producers just let it roll and let people do their thing, it’s an interesting watch!” he said.
Adding that there is “very, very serious drama — laughter and tears”, he also dished that this show has it all!
How did Nick Bell Become an Advisor On Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2022?
Nick revealed that he was approached to be on the show via LinkedIn and thought it was a great way to escape the Melbourne lockdowns at the time.
“I didn’t know what to expect going into the show,” he told the outlet. “I thought, why not go to Sydney for three months and film the show, but I had no idea around who the celebrities were, what was going to be involved.
“And the first day on set — these are pretty random celebrities: sports stars, Olympians, reality TV stars, TV hosts — and they’re all different and brilliant in their own way, but you’ve got some massive personalities!”
Talking more about the contestants, he dished some serious dirt.
“There’s a few sneaky people on set, I’ll be honest with you,” he revealed. “There were some dirty tactics happening throughout the time of filming. Ones to watch would be definitely Darren [McMullen], Vince [Colosimo] was a character and also watch Gamble [Breaux] and Turia [Pitt], they were also good value.”

His business ventures include WME, Appscore, and Removify and according to the Australian Financial Review 2020 Rich List, he is said to be worth $274 million! WOAH NELLY!
In an interview with 9Now, the founder said that he has ambitions to “learn and grow”.
“It would be easy to just sit on the couch, but I want to keep learning and keep growing. That’s one of the reasons I’m doing Celebrity Apprentice, to push myself outside my comfort zone.”
