Dave Graham – known affectionately as Farmer Dave – is taking on Big Brother Australia 2022, 16 years after he first made franchise history during his first stint in the house.
In 2006, Dave caught the public’s attention when he came out as gay during an emotional live episode of Big Brother.
He won over the support of his housemates and the adoration of the nation and went on to place third in the series six competition.
The reality star (who yes, really did grow up on a farm) initially applied for the show after he was the victim of a ruthless homophobic bashing.
“I thought, ‘that’s not right. People shouldn’t be bashed,'” He said in an interview with MammaMia!
He believed that his stint on the show would open the minds of viewers at home.
Farmer Dave Has Been On Multiple Reality TV Shows
In between his 2006 and 2022 stints on Big Brother, Dave has made several other TV appearances.
Famously, he appeared in Dancing With the Stars back in 2007 where he managed to survive for eight weeks before being booted off.
