Married at First Sight Australia 2022 star Domenica Calarco has revealed the meaning behind her iconic smashed wine glass tattoo.
While fans have been speculating whether the ink is a reference to the glass-smashing incident that occurred on the show during a fight with fellow contestant – and rival — Olivia Frazer.
However, during NOVA’s annual MAFS Dinner Party on March 31, the budding reality star told hosts Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli that the reasoning behind her new tat is “not what everyone thinks.
“It represents that we all have our sore points and have a limit to what we can take. Sometimes we crack, and we break – and that’s okay, because we are human,” Domenica explained.

What Exactly Is Domenica’s New Tattoo Of?
The makeup artist showed off her latest piece of body art during an outing in Sydney earlier this month. Showing she clearly has #NoRegrets over the incident!
The feisty bride was seen leaving a cosmetic injectables clinic in Bondi Junction and sported a small round Band-Aid alongside her new ink.
The new tatt joins a number of other tattoos on the MAFS bride, including a star, a red heart with the word “mum”, a sun, a Vegemite jar and a lil’ Simba from The Lion King — among a handful of others.

Things kicked off between Domenica and Olivia during the Couple’s Retreat when Olivia, 27, told Domenica to reconsider how she “speaks to people”.
“I just think you need to choose your words really carefully because when you sweat, it comes off way more aggressive,” Olivia said.
“I’m sick of hearing you. I’m sick of your voice yelling all the time. I’m bored of your voice’.”
Domenica then shot back: “So my voice isn’t okay?”
Olivia then explained that she thought it was rude that Domenica would always cut her off to chime in with her two cents.
“No, my entire life — I have been told my voice isn’t okay,” Domenica furiously replied, before smashing a wine glass into pieces in front of her co-stars.
