Married at First Sight Australia 2022 might currently be tying up its loose ends Down Under, but the drama-filled ninth season is set to hit US screens very soon.
The ninth instalment of everyone’s favourite dumpster-fire reality show will see the return of experts Mel Schilling, John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla as they help a new bunch of unique singletons find The One.
*Spoiler Alert* It’s the most batsh*t crazy season yet.
As Married at First Sight Australia Season Nine wraps up in both Australia and the UK, So Dramatic! can exclusively reveal that MAFS Australia 2022 will descend on America — and into further chaos — at the end of March.
“Married at First Sight season nine will be airing in the US,” a source disclosed, adding that “it premieres on March 30”.
Season Nine will premiere on US network Lifetime and will see the return of drama-filled Hens and Bucks nights, cringeworthy weddings and some truly disturbed contestants. You don’t want to miss it!
Married at First Sight Australia Has Had Great Success In the US
While the US’ own iteration of the hit marriage series is in its 13th season, Married at First Sight Australia Season Nine will only be the third instalment America has seen from Down Under.
MAFS Australia first premiered in the US with its seventh season in 2020 and introduced stars such as Stacey Hampton, Hayley Vernon, Poppy Jennings and Michael Goonan to a whole new audience of unsuspecting viewers.
Since then, America has also got to know 2021 cast members Bryce Ruthven (condolences), Coco Stedman, Sam Carraro (AKA Slim Shady) and Beck Zemek, who was met with varying opinions after THAT reunion blunder.
Still, despite the total trainwrecks that have crossed their screens, US fans clamoured for the drama. They even went as far to call on Netflix to stream the first six seasons of Married at First Sight Australia, too!
