Former Married at First Sight Australia groom Ivan Sarakula has slammed sex workers in a vile rant during an Instagram Live video.
Ivan made a name for himself as a controversial groom when he wed Aleks Markovic on MAFS in 2020. However, it seems his contentious takes are still causing a stir two years on from his reality TV debut.
Taking to Instagram in early March with an unknown friend, the 32-year-old expressed some seriously questionable views about women “in the adult entertainment industry”.
Noting that he would “probably [be] f*cking happy that only 150 people” were watching the video, Ivan said: “Any girl in the adult entertainment industry has serious psychological trauma that she hasn’t addressed. It’s that f*cking simple.” Bro… what the f*ck?
He then said that putting out sexual content is “a degrading act” and doesn’t speak to any sort of healthy relationship.
“Even the simple act of porn itself… It’s got no direct correlation to a loving or committed relationship with a human being,” Ivan continued. “OnlyFans in the same sh*t… It’s f*cked up.”

Ivan’s slut-shaming commentary comes as a shock, especially to one member of the So Dramatic! Drama Army who expressed that the former TV groom “was dating a stripper”.
“She was Porn Star of the Year,” the sleuth said. “It’s people like this saying this sh*t that keeps the stigma around.”
Ivan is also good friends with his Married at First Sight co-star Hayley Vernon, who has since forged a successful career on OnlyFans following the show.
Hayley Vernon Pulls Back the Curtain On Her OnlyFans Career
Chatting to host Megan Pustetto, Hayley explained how the OnlyFans paywall walks for subscribers.
“The easiest way to describe it is it’s like a Facebook wall. To gain access to that… you pay a subscription,” she explained, which is how users can access general content from the creator.
However, there is also a DM feature, but Hayley said she doesn’t chat to people “unless they pay a tip or [she sends] out a pay-per-view message”.
She explained: “It’s a message that comes with a little lock on it and a price tag… As soon as that subscriber pushes the little lock, that message is unlocked and that video is their’s for cost.”
While that cost “can vary from $1 up to $150”, Hayley revealed she sells her videos for a maximum of $19.95, which is then offered to upwards of 3,000 subscribers.
Watch Married at First Sight Australia on Sundays at 7.00 pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7.30 pm on Channel Nine.
