Rumours have been circulating that Married at First Sight Australia 2022 couple Andrew Davis and Holly Greenstein were reportedly paid $3000 EACH to stay on the show.

According to this alleged insider, the producers became so desperate after Andrew threatened to leave that they offered them a huge sum of money just to stay in the experiment.

But we’re here to tell you – it’s absolute bullsh*t.

“This would not be true according to what I know,” host of the So Dramatic! Podcast Megan Pustetto said.

Megan has a deep knowledge and understanding of how the reality television world works, as well as a number of legitimate inside sources – including current and former contestants. So basically, she knows what’s up.

“I know of people who have tried to get money to stay and they have all been shut down,” she added.

Confirmation That The Rumour About Married At First Sight 2022 Couple Andrew Davis and Holly Greenstein Is False

The So Dramatic! host explained why this claim is ridiculous, as she referenced the amount paid to former contestants for the 2021 Married At First Sight: Grand Reunion: “Returning contestants for the reunion were only paid $3000.”

“Why would they give these nobodies who have already provided enough drama to last two seasons, $3000 to stay?” she questioned.

Megan spoke to a number of inside sources to confirm that this rumour is in fact all hearsay:

“I asked a number of contestants from this season if this was true and they all said no way in hell. Andrew and Holly were not paid any money to stay on the show,” she shared.
