In the next instalment of six degrees of reality TV, Married at First Sight Australia 2022’s Jackson Lonie has a very random connection to Survivor Australia: Blood v Water’s Sophie Cachia!
Thanks to intel from a member of the drama army, it turns out that Jackson’s aunty photographed Sophie’s wedding.
As reported in episode 147 of the So Dramatic! podcast, someone who knows Jackson quite well delivered the titbit while also revealing what his friends really call him.
“Hey. I know Jackson quite well,” the source said. “His name is actually Jack but producers made him go by Jackson, the name only his mother uses.” Ha!
Then they added: “He is a really lovely guy who comes from a beautiful family.”
“His aunty Nicole Taranto was a photographer and she shot Sophie Cachia’s wedding,” they added. “I think they are friends.”
Which Other Married at First Sight Stars Have Links to the Reality TV World?
Jackson isn’t the only Married at First Sight Australia groom to have links to the reality TV world.
In fact, his own bride, Olivia Frazer, is the sister of Bondi Rescue star Tommy Frazer!
Meanwhile, MAFS groom, Brent Vitiello, has links of his own. The restaurant manager is friends with DJ/actor/model/influencer Levi Neufeld, who garnered even more fans around the country after he appeared as Brent’s best man.
Then we have the loveable idiot, Al Perkins, who has some SERIOUS connections — and not just to reality stars.
In fact, after some serious Insta stalking, we found that Al has not only met singer Ellie Goulding in 2014 but even had drinks with her! And then don’t even get us started on his obsession with Craig Wing, former rugby player from the Roosters!
