The Block judge Darren Palmer has forked out an insane amount of cash for a brand new house in Byron Bay.
The interior designer purchased the property, which is only steps away from the stunning Tallow Beach, for a cool $3.85million. Yes, that was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor!
Darren bought the home with his partner of 11 years, Olivier Duvillard, with the pair making the move to Bryon from Sydney’s Bondi Beach alongside their young son.
They have lived in their equally-gorg Bondi pad since 2015 when they purchased it for $2.98 million.
See Inside Darren Palmer’s New Byron Bay Home
Of course, Darren’s new abode is totally stunning, so read on at your own risk because the pictures inspire some serious house envy. We are almost certain Darren’s fellow The Block judges will approve.
The four-bedroom home sits on 720 square feet and borders the Byron Bay bushland.
Three of the four bedrooms have access to the wrap-around balcony, which also offers views of the plunge pool.
The downstairs features spacious living and dining areas, from which Dean and Olivier can step out into the pool area.
Given that the pair are stylish AF we are certain the new kids on the Byron Bay block will decorate their new home to the absolute nines.
According to realestate.com.au, The Block Australia star purchased the home McGrath Byron Bay agents Ian Daniels and Susan Whyte.
Prior to Dean and Olivier snapping up the prime property, it last sold in 2005 for just $770,000. Bargain!
Naturally, Darren has already taken the opportunity to go full Blockhead on his new place.
He took to Instagram to flex his DIY skills, posting a quick painting reel to his feed.
